Victorian Porcelain Ring in Old Pot Metal Vintage 1950s

"This unique large porcelain ring looks a hundred years old, but it was made in the late 1940s or early 1950s. The oval cab is old milky porcelain that was most likely made in England. The young man and the young lady is an older Victorian motif in blues and greens, flesh tones and white. Notice the pretty bright blue sky in the back ground and the garden setting of green foliage. The picture is not hand painted but is rather a well made applique. The ring is old silver pot metal and the porcelain cab is framed in a beaded mold form. The crude mold design renders a very old look. The ring band is adjustable to fit any size finger. The setting is rather large as the face of the ring measures 1 1/4"" long x 1"" wide. This is a type of ring that is best worn on the middle or index finger. The ring is in excellent condition. The porcelain cab and the motif shows no signs of wear or abuse. The back of the ring shows only light signs of wear. The ring is not signed, but it was most likely made in England shortly after WWII."
