Vintage French Glass Pin Glowing Frosted Givre Brooch

"This vintage 1940's French glass pin has the most unusual Givre (meaning frosted)glowing glass Marquise crystals ! The frosted crystals glow like ice and are combined with two Marquise clear Austrian crystals and several clear rhinestone chatons. The clear crystals sparkle in magnificent brilliance as they are very high quality. In my photos, it appears as though the crystals are lit up from inside with yellow tinted light at the tips. You can only see this effect under bright light as the tips do not have a yellow appearance under normal conditions. The piece can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant, and has not one, but two bails on the back. It is photographed vertically, but it is worn horizontally. All of the crystals and rhinestones are prong set and in a silver rhodium plated finish. The back is rhodium plated as well. This piece is all original, has the original fine working safety clasp on the back and all of the stones are in excellent scratch free, clear and clean condition. There are some very light, small surface scratches on the back. This piece is not signed but most certainly designer made in France. It is 2 5/8"" long x 1 1/4"" wide."
