"Here is your opportunity to own an unprecedented 1950's Weiss brooch in dazzling smoky grey crystals that Weiss was so famous for. The crystals are large emerald and chaton cuts, and if you look at the facets you will notice that all of the smoky grey crystals are faceted very high above the bezels. Nothing is flat about these crystals! The brooch is tiered in three layers and the top is adorned with scrolled clear paves in bright silver rhodium settings. Also notice the nice Marquise cut grey crystals at the top center. These smoky grey crystals throw rainbows of light like you cant imagine! This pin is in pristine, mint condition and has never been worn. All of the crystals are present, original and scratch free. Even all of the very small clear pave rhinestones are present and brilliant. The grey crystals are all hand set in prong and bezel settings. The rhodium is in superb condition with no wear anywhere. The brooch is marked Weiss on the back and has the original fine working safety clasp. Under very bright light and very high magnification, all of the crystals have very sharp faceted edges with no wear. I can see one emerald cut stone that has a few black specks on the backside of the crystal, and one smaller emerald cut crystal that has a microscopic pin prick. These aspects cannot be seen with the naked eye. This pin is exceptionally clean. The dimensions of this brooch sound only medium at 2 1/2"" tall x 2 1/2"" wide, but it is a large handful and the tiered layers add to the impressive depth.
