"This very unique flower spray brooch from the 1950s is a piece that is rather hard to describe but my photos do a good job. I can honestly say I have never seen another brooch anything like this one. The brooch is a sizzling combination of rhinestones, foil glass, and Lucite in layered gold metal branches. The brooch was expertly crafted and glistens in pastel hues. The large marquise stones could be called Givre glass, rainbow glass or glowing glass. This glass is actually a type of French pastel foil glass with a beaded moonscape finish. The rhinestone chatons are pastel Aurora Borealis stones and the molded roses are frosted satin Lucite. This brooch is a large presentation piece and measures 3 1/4"" long x 1 3/4"" wide. If you look at the back, you can see the elaborate gold metal settings of how this brooch was fashioned. All of the rhinestones and glass stones are prong set. The brooch is in perfect, pristine condition. All of the stones are original, present and sizzling with sparkle. There is no loss of gold or any signs of age and the brooch has the original fine working safety clasp. The brooch is not signed, but it most certainly was custom made and Im certain not many like it were ever made."
