As quickly as the automobile reduced the need for saddles, the Hotze family applied their knowledge of leather and craftsmanship in a new direction, becoming one of America's first families of golf bags.Relocating in 1957 to its current facility in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Hotze continued it's history of quality and innovation including the first bag company to use injection-molded plastic for a stronger bag base; as well as, the first to incorporate a dual strap system on a carry bag.With the acquisition of the HotZ brand, American Brand Golf has committed itself to maintaining the standards of integrity set forth by the Henry Hotze family over 130 years ago. The most copied design in bag history.1978 HOTZ invests in the first embroidery equipment for bag panels.1987 HOTZ begins first Dual Sling with first patent holder.1988 HOTZ invests in the first embroidery equipment built to embroider a bagafter it is complete.1992 HOTZ runs more pieces of embroidery through both finished and semi-finished bags in the U.S. completing over 100, 000 pieces.1996 HOTZ invests in a fully integrated embroidery tape digitizing system.This makes HOTZ the first bag manufacturer that can do everything "in house" from start to finish on a logo and apply it to product. Since 2000 American Brand Golf has added it's experience and vision to the further development of the HotZ brand.
