This range is fantastic! After struggling for 5 years with a radiant heat glass top electric range, every time I cook something I feel like I'm dreaming. The grill performs wonderfully for pancakes & grilled sandwiches. Of course the gas burners are completely responsive in temperature regulation, so my first effort at scrambled eggs yielded perfection. The convection oven is just great, & I appreciate the way the range converts the regular oven roasting and baking temperature to the correct temp for convection. The little tunes it plays are fun, though I think they could be a tad louder so as to call me from the next room. I don\'t know why I didn't buy this 5 years ago when we moved into this house! I look forward to many years of great cooking & baking.

I would strongly recommend anyone interested in doing an online purchase with AppliancesConnection.com to consider a local store (Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, etc) for any appliance purchase. I placed my order on Thursday July 29th and received an auto-confirmation mentioning that my order will be processed within 24-48 hours. By Wednesday the following week I did not receive any update to my order and decided to send them an email requesting status. 2 days later I received an email asking to call them. So I called, gave them my order # and without asking any further questions said they would process the order. I asked them why did it take 1 week just to process the order and why did I have to call in to get this initiated. They said they were busy. Later that day I then received another email from their Billing dept mentioning they have put a stop on the order because I did not have my shipping address set up with my credit card company. I do online bill pay so my Billing address is different than my home(shipping) address and as I suspected most credit card companies do not allow more than 1 address to be on file at a time (I also confirmed this with my CC company as well). I can understand their need to set up some type of policy to help mitigate online fraud however if the credit card companies do not support multiple addresses then they need to come up with a different fraud solution, preferably one that would not inconvenience the customer. This is an out-dated and completely unacceptable solution and will certainly impact their ability to grow as an online merchant. Like everyone else I make constant online purchases and this is the first I have ever had this type of experience. Never again will I use this company and I hope this message reaches others so they don't fall into this frustrating issue.

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. JohnT was my salesperson. I ordered an air conditioning unit on May 7th, 2011. The website said the LG unit was "Available" and it came with free shipping. I paid for Express delivery (3-5 days at $69.99) and recieved the unit on June 3rd, 2011. I requested a refund for the Express Delivery on the delivery date because there was by no means an express delivery performed. I recieved a phone call from JohnT on Sunday, June 12 2011 3:00 PM CST. Apparently, nothing is express about this company, not even phone calls. In the conversation, JohnT refused to refund my express delivery, because their website states "Item Available" not "In-Stock" and it was delayed because it was a special order. Nowhere on the website does it state anything about stock or special ordering. He also threatened to cancel my five-year warranty with no refund given, and further threatens that he is going to have a shipping company come to my house and rip my air-conditioning unit off the wall.

I purchased the SUMMIT SCFU1375 11.2 CU.FT Freezer 3 months ago... 3 MONTHS THEY HAVE HAD MY MONEY and it took 2 MONTHS TO EVEN DELIVER! The Freezer finally arrived at the shipping company in Bangor Maine a month ago. The shipping company immediately called me and told me to REFUSE the delivery because it was damaged. I called customer service and I first got Frank and then later talked to Markus (who was actually Frank in disguise)Trying to refuse a refund. After almost an hour on the phone they said they approved a refund. So I hung up. Then a person from their company called and acted like they were from the shipping company and tried to talk me into the delivery. They said the damage was ONLY on the box. I reluctantly accepted. Then Frank called back trying to reverse the refund. BUT Frank called from the same phone number that the supposed representative of the shipping company called from. Like I am stupid. And like no one in the world has caller ID. I called Frank on the carpet and he called me a “damn fool” but after some yelling, he put “Markus” on the phone and he (Markus and Frank are the same person) said he would submit my refund. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I have not gotten my money back. I have contacted my bank for FRAUD. And a non-authorized charge for $1,675.00. They said they will have my funds within 48 hours. I have never in my life had to deal with such shady people before. So, BUYERS BEWARE of APPLIANCESCONNECTION.COM

What was delivered was not what I ordered and their customer service just gave me a bunch of double speak and told me they only made $22 on the sale. I paid for White Glove Service and did not get it, had to unpack, install dispose of packing myself. I am going to just dispute the whole thing and let them work it out with AMEX.

Update 2..... After Calvin called me the second time, bribed me to change my review and upgraded my three year warranty to a 5 year warranty and then offered to refund me shipping since my fridge is still sitting in my Garage.(Haven't seen the refund yet) I determined that this company could have been worse. Still won't buy from them again, but they are trying to compensate for the poor customer service, extremely bad shipping, lack of organization, horrible delivery and lack of professionalism. Horrible Customer Service. Ordered the Express delivery. Still took 3 weeks to get confirmation of a delivery date, then after paying for express delivery. They wouldn't deliver it for another 10-12 days. They said they would comp me the express delivery for the delay, they didn't it was sent the standard ground, then they took it off my bill so the trucking company didn't send it express. Horrible customer service. Argued with me telling me I was just wanting to cause trouble and be difficult. Would not listen or work with me. "Customer is not always right with them", instead they will argue and yell and not listen to you!

The Broan hood is gorgeous, and what a buy for the price. The lights are really bright, and at low speed, you can barely hear the fan. At high speeds, it's a little loud, but the draw of air is really good. I would recommend to anyone looking to put a lot of punch into a kitchen remodel. The more expensive models have quieter fans, but for the money, this is a total winner.

This merchant completely dishonest. Unilaterally changed my order. Purchased new dryer & removal of old dryer for $40 extra. S&H fee was added because of removal. Merchant accepted order & confirmed. When contacted to sched delivery, noticed removal of old dryer not included. Tried to phone & e-mail merchant but they were closed on a Thur & Fri. After delivery, they told me removal service not available in my area. Did not charge removal fee, but insisted on keeping S&H fee which would not have been charged if I did not order removal. Merchant apologetic but unhelpful. I kicked the charge back on my credit card. Merchant insisted they were not responsible for removal even though they confirmed the order & were closed for two business days before delivery. My credit card company saw what skunks they are, and offered to eliminate entire charge for dryer as a courtesy. Merchant website says removal not available in all areas, but they still take your order anyway.

I needed a new freestanding range. I researched prices for three weeks and found Appliance Connection had the best price for the range I was looking for. I saved $425 on a Frigidaire FGEF3055KF convection range as compared to a big name appliance store. I was very afraid to order an appliance online. But I must say it was effortless with AppliancesConnection, eventhough I read a few bad reviews about them. I had no trouble at all.

Cons: Delivery is a bit slow. It took about 9 days for my range to be delivered. They were suppose to deliver it on Monday, between 3 and 9 pm. They didn't make it and they did call about 8:00 to say they weren't coming. I couldn't leave work again for 6 hours, so the next day I called AppliancesConnection and they gave me the phone number of the driver. We coordinated a time within an hour and that's when they delivered it. So eventhough delivery was somewhat of a hassle, the next day they compensated for it by accomodating my schedule.

I ordered a wine cooler from Appliances Connection. They had the best price and the item was listed as "available" on their site. It turned out the item was backordered and I had some issues that Appliances Connection ultimately explained were due to a new/seasonal employee who didn't yet fully understand what he was doing. Ultimately, I dealt with a great customer service rep. (John) who helped me understand how the misunderstanding had occured and had the unit drop shipped direct to me so I received it quickly. Ignoring the initial service stumble, Appliance Connection really came through in the end! Thanks!

So far my experience with this retailer has been less then stellar. I ordered a oven on 10-3-10, and after waiting for 5 days for the oven ship (during which time we received no notifications on what the heck was going on with our order, it was finally shipped by "Manna Distribution services" on 10-8-10, which is where my real problems begin. Somehow they shipped my order to another state! I logged a ticket with their customer service and was told that they would contact the carrier to bring the oven to my correct address and they would call me. Three days later I still haven't heard from the shipping company, and every time I call I get a recording, despite calling during what they call there normal business hours. We're expecting our firstborn at the end of the month, and can't be without a oven, so we are looking into other options. I am getting increasingly frustrated with appliancesconnection.com, and their customer service. All we want is the product you charged us for, nothing more... I really think they are trying to wait out the 30 day window on my credit card and hope I don't do I chargeback... boy are they going to be surprised if I don't hear back from them soon. **update** I've heard back from Tony at Appliance connection and he has arrange delivery for our stove on 10-19-10 and gave us an upgraded 3-year warranty and shipping for our trouble. I'll post more after the actual arrival of the merchandise. **new update** I can't say it was a surprise, but my "delivery" had to be re-scheduled because the shipper was unable to meet the delivery window. Now we have to make sure someone is available on Thursday.
